2006 ICCCIA CONFERENCE
Ironbridge, United Kingdom
Overview
The 2006 ICCCIA Conference in Ironbridge, England was hosted in one of the most
historically significant industrial regions in the world. The Ironbridge Gorge,
considered the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, provided a meaningful

gathering from across the globe.
This conference combined technical foundry practice, historical interpretation,
large-scale iron pours, gallery exhibitions, and collaborative projects unique to
the cultural and industrial legacy of the region.
