Kayla Smith is a multidisciplinary artist from Jacksonville, Florida. Working with casting, metal fabrication, and found object assemblage, her practice explores human behavior, the subconscious mind, and the ways sensory processing and input shape experience. She earned her BFA from the University of North Florida and is currently pursuing her MFA at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
